Your risk of flooding

All businesses are at risk of financial loss as a result of flooding, even those with insurance. This section tells you how to find out if your business is at risk from flooding, what you can do about it and how the Environment Agency can help.

You can check out the new Flood Map on the Environment Agency website which shows the most comprehensive picture of flood risk and for the first time gives a guide to the level of risk - low, moderate or significant. Alternatively, you can simply call our 24 hour Floodline 0845 988 1188.

You can also ask neighbours or your local council about local flood history. They may be able to tell you the last time your area was flooded, and how it occurred.
