Find summary Catchment Flood Management Plans (CFMPs) and post adoption statements for the North West Region.
We have identified 13 catchments in the North West Region of England. These are separate areas of land that collect precipitation and drain naturally into a single river system. We have developed flood management plans for each of these 13 catchments and estimate 55,000 properties are currently at risk of flooding in a one per cent annual probability event. This could rise to 75,000 by 2100 due to the effects of climate change.
