Anglian Region stretches from the Thames Estuary in the south to the Humber Estuary in the north and from the East Anglian Coast, to Daventry in the west.

Covering more than 27,000 km2 almost six million people live here. The main urban areas are Norwich, Peterborough, Ipswich, Chelmsford, Cambridge, Northampton and Lincoln. The region has large areas of flat, low-lying land and more than 860km of coastline. It encompasses the Fens, the Broads and approximately 60% of the most productive agricultural land in England and Wales.
