Shoreline Management Plans - the second generation (SMPs)

SMPs are being developed by Coastal Groups. These are principally made up of local authorities and the Environment Agency, one of whom adopts a leading role in co-ordinating the Coastal Group and writing the SMP for each stretch of coastline.

The complete list of SMPs is below, together with the name of the local authority or Environment Agency office leading on the plan.
