About AOS
Asset Operational Services consists of our National Capital Programme Management Services (ncpms), National Field Services teams and three National Support teams.
Through ncpms, we offer a project management service which draws on the technical expertise and experience of teams located across England and Wales. ncpms staff work in a range of disciplines to help us achieve better flood risk management, as well as working on other capital programmes such as waterways and water resources.
The national Field Services team is responsible for a range of professional services and standards which are embedded into field based area teams. These help to create an efficient, safe and effective environment for teams carrying out their core role of asset maintenance and incident response.
Our teams ensure that we build flood defences efficiently and effectively, and help to protect and improve the environment through our work. We manage projects throughout their lifecycle: from initial strategic planning through to implementation and achieving the final result.
Current magazine
Current magazine is produced jointly by ncpms and our National Engineering Consultancy Agreement (NEECA2), National Contractors Framework (NCF2) and National Cost Managment Framework (NCMF) partners. It is an informative newsletter, mixing articles that highlight good practice and innovation with the latest news and in-depth features.
It is also designed to connect our partners with the Environment Agency's aims and objectives and celebrate the hard work and achievements of staff working within the frameworks.
