Silage slurry and agricultural fuel oil regulations (SSAFO)

Our position statement on compliance assessment and enforcement for the SSAFO regulations (March 2011).

The SSAFO regulations were originally introduced in 1991. They were renewed in 2010, after a period when they were unenforceable for legal reasons. The renewed regulations have not be subject to any significant revision.

This statement describes our approach to assessing and enforcing compliance with the regulations.
