WFD results and maps

Maps and data are available for the overall ecological status of rivers, lakes, estuaries and coasts, and the chemical and quantitative status of groundwaters in England and Wales.

Data are also available for the chemical status of rivers, estuaries and coasts.

Draft classifications will be one component of the Draft River Basin Plans which will be issued for a six-month consultation period in early 2009. Final classifications will be published in the final River Basin Plans in December 2009.
