Brofiscin Quarry

Brofiscin Quarry is a former limestone quarry in the village of Groesfaen, near Llantrisant in Rhondda Cynon Taf in South Wales. Industrial wastes were disposed of there during the 1960’s and 1970’s. We have been working closely with a range of organisations and individuals to ensure that the Brofiscin site is investigated thoroughly.

Environmental studies and our monitoring confirm pollution of deep groundwater and intermittent pollution of surface waters. All investigations to date have confirmed that there is no identifiable harm or immediate danger to human health.
