Flood Awareness Wales – door to door community engagement

Find out when our Flood Awareness Officers will visit your community.

Our team of specialist Flood Awareness Officers are continuing to visit homes and businesses in communities at risk of flooding to advise residents of their flood risk and help them take action to prepare their property for flooding.

Our teams will be giving flood packs to homes and businesses containing information on steps to take before, during and after a flood, a short DVD highlighting the actions that can be taken in the home and a personal flood plan.

We will also be signing residents and businesses up to receive free advanced warning of flooding in their area, where the service is available, and will also be providing advice to residents on how to prepare personal flood kits.

Where will the Flood Awareness Officers be visiting?

We have a team of Flood Awareness Officers based in south-east, south-west and north Wales who will be visiting flood risk areas through until March 2013.
