Cymeradwywyd y Cynlluniau Rheoli Basnau Afonydd gan yr Ysgrifennydd Gwladol ar gyfer yr Amgylchedd, Bwyd a Materion Gwledig, a chan Weinidog Cymru.

Mae a wnelo’r Cynllun Rheoli Basn Afon â’r pwysau sydd ar yr amgylchedd dyfrol yn yr ardal basn afon hon, a sut mae mynd i’r afael â hwy. Paratowyd ef gan ymgynghori ag amrywiaeth eang o gyrff ac unigolion, a dyma’r cyntaf o gyfres o gylchredau cynllunio chwe mlynedd.
