Delays to works at Teston Lock (PDF, 23KB)
Due to difficulties in re-seating the lock tail gates, we are extending the restrictions to the opening of Teston Lock.
The contractors will operate the lock between the hours of 0800 and 1700 hours daily. If you approach the lock from upstream, you must land on a temporary landing stage next to the lock, and wait for the contractors to call you forward.
If you require a locking time outside of these hours, please give 48 hours' notice and call the Allington Lock keeper on 01622 752864.
We plan to re-open the lock on Friday 31 May 2013.
