If you keep or use any boat on the River Medway between Allington Lock and the Leigh Barrier at Tonbridge (including marinas), you need to buy a registration from us and display a registration plate on the boat.
Registrations run from 1 April to 31 March for boats kept on any part of the non-tidal River Medway, including backwaters. This includes motor cruisers, sailing cruisers, narrowboats, houseboats and open boats such as canoes or rowing boats.
Our web pages have now been updated ready for 2014/15. If you would like to register your boat for the remainder of 2013/14 please contact the NCCC boat registration team on 03708 506 506 for prices and forms.
