This guidance is for anyone who has registered as a participant in the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme (CRC). If you do not qualify as a participant but are required to make an information disclosure you will not be required to maintain an evidence pack, however you do need to keep detailed records, in which case this document may be of use.
The evidence pack guidance explains how you should set up and maintain an evidence pack, including what documents, data and records you will need to keep for your organisation. Your evidence pack, or parts of it, will be required by us when we carrying out a compliance audit. It also gives an overview of the information that you should retain if your are making an information disclosure.
In the guidance we have provided some templates to show what your evidence pack might look like. You do not have to use our templates, however you must keep an accurate and up-to-date evidence pack.
