Waste Returns

  • National operator waste returns
    A waste return is a document that is completed by the operator of an environmental permit to tell us what waste they have received, or have had removed from their site.
     
  • Hazardous waste consignee returns
    A hazardous waste consignee return is a document that is completed by a waste management sites operator to inform us of what hazardous waste consignments they have received, deposited or rejected from their site.
  • Producer returns
    A consignee must send information on the wastes they received to the waste producer or holder. These records may consist of consignment note copies, with information of the disposal or recovery method of the waste.
     
  • Landfill Allowances and Trading Scheme (LATS)
    In England the Landfill Allowances and Trading Scheme (LATS) began on 1 April 2005 and all waste disposal authorities are able to trade, bank and borrow allowances
