Annual report

Participants will need to gather records of the energy supplies that make up their CRC emissions for their entire organisation or group.

You will have already calculated the scope of your emissions as part of your footprint report. You will then need to report on your actual CRC emissions at the end of each annual reporting year.

All CRC participants are required to submit an annual report, except for those that have a general Climate Change Agreement (CCA) exemption, or a group CCA exemption. Exemptions are only valid for the duration of the phase for which they are claimed.

If you have claimed one of these exemptions, you need to re-assess your CCA status for each annual compliance year and before the start of each new phase of CRC.

Please note: The CRC reporting system requires numerical values to be entered rounded down to the nearest whole number. It also rounds down emissions to the nearest tonne of CO2 when calculating emissions. This may result in slightly lower calculated emissions than your manual calculations and is not a system fault.
