Publication scheme

We have published a Publication Scheme in line with section 19 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The purpose of the Act is to promote greater openness by public authorities.

Our Regional Flood Defence Committees also are listed as having a duty to publish a Publication Scheme. They have adopted this same scheme and their information is covered in our ‘Guide to Information’.
